Tehran” the capital of Iran and Tehran Province with a population of around 9 million in the city and 16 million in the wider metropolitan area is the largest city and urban area of Iran, the 2nd-largest city in Western Asia, and the 3rd-largest in the Middle East. It is ranked 29th in the world by the population of its metropolitan area.

Milad Tower

Standing 435m high, including 120m of antenna, Milad Tower finally opened in 2008 after 13 on-again-off-again years of construction.In 2012 it was the world’s sixth-tallest freestanding tower. The tower bears a striking resemblance to Toronto’s CN Tower, with the octagonal concrete shaft tapering slightly up to a pod with 12 floors. The pod is home to an observation deck, a revolving restaurant, a ‘sky dome’ and various TV, radio and traffic control functions.

Azadi Tower

With the former name of Shahyad, meaning “Kings Memorial”, the inverted Y-shaped monumental was dubbed Azadi (Freedom) after the revolution of 1979. Banay-e Azadi (Azadi Tower) in the vicinity of Tehran airport is the most iconic landmark and symbol of Tehran that was built in 1971 in commemoration of the 2,500th anniversary of the Persian Empire.

kish Tourism Attractions

Kish is a 91.5-square-kilometer resort island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the Hormozgān Province of Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer’s paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels. It has an estimated population of 26,000 residents and about 1 million people visit the island annually.
